About

The symposium’s focus is competitively funded research propelling the Mountain State forward into the leading edge of science and technology, especially in those scientific disciplines specified in the West Virginia Research Trust Fund legislation and identified as potential technology platforms for West Virginia’s innovation-based economy. Research sponsored by federal agencies (National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, etc.) is of particular relevance.
